Linkoping

May 28th:

Canal Day May 28th: The locks at the Gota canal, which links east and west of sweden. Notice the Mr Walkman - the art scuplture on the island in lake Vattern. FYI the locks allow the boats to "climb up" the canal. Amazing

Its so safe in Sweden you don't get to see the police at all haha...I was lucky to see it as an EXHIBIT on canal day!

May 29th:

Finally presented my EE2001 Project, signalling the end of the endlesss VHDL programming

Favourite hangout place in the school, where I toiled limitless hours :S

The cause of all our sleepless nights....the legendary FPGA board. So simple yet so tough.

And finally the finishd product! The program is supposed to digitise an audio signal, modify on the FPGA board, setting controls for volume, balance, echo and reverbation. Enough of the boring details. I am so glad the nightmare was over.

It was also the day of my birthday haha, had a bbq with some friends, they also baked a cake. Many thanks to them. It was really wonderful. I haven't recevived the pictures yet, cos the cameraman went off to Ireland the next day!

The end of my academic life in Linkoping. Bidded farewell in the night to 3 other swedish who are going to Japan for 1 month homestay. (Photos not available yet, the photographer is in Japan now haha)

Aircraft Museum revisited!

I really want to be a pilot...

At my corridor mate's PHD graduation party. There were around 60 people, more than 30 from Netherlands! Hitched a ride there to the camping ground..You could have guessed, there were crates and crates of beer and alcohol...

BBQ!Enjoying a game of Kubb after dinner...I am damn zai in it i think :) But it can get quite boring sometimes. But everyone enjoyed it. According to Sophie, this game is always played during mid-summer and always ends up with a fight. haha

The 3 Swedish SSO: Suzana, Sophie ( the driver) and Ockto ( the first person I know who has travelled on the trans siberian railway) This picture was taken at 11pm :) There is almost no night now..
